Pinto was born in 2010 at Wamai Village in Mfangano South location. She is the second born in a family of two children. Both children were born out of wedlock. Her mother has not been available to take care of her children. She instead left Pinto and her sibling under the care of thier grandmother, who is older and works as a peasant farmer. Because this work is so seasonal, the family often does not have enough money or food to sustain them.

Pintos older brother Stanley is enrolled at Repairer Primary in grade 6.

Before joining GGCC, Pinto was learning at Wamai Primary School in grade 2. She was admitted to GGCC as orphaned and vulnerable child in January of 2019 in grade 2.

Pinto wants to work hard in school to be able to help her grandmother in the future. She has talked about becoming a pilot. She enjoys her English class and during her free times, likes to play games with her friends.
