Benedict was born in 2014 in Kakiimba Village. He is the third born child and only boy among the four in his family. His siblings are Sheila, Lourine and Sarah. Benedict and his family have faced many challenges as it relates to meeting their basic needs as well as their educational needs. Currently, Benedict is cared for by his grandmother. At times, she has been unable to pay for his school fees and school materials. It would take her awhile to get the money together to pay to send him back to school. Missing classes caused Benedict to struggle academically. He became self-conscious and showed signs of low self-esteem. Benedict also faces health challenges, which presents an additional financial burden for his grandmother.

Benedict was admitted to GGCC in January of 2024 as a partial orphan and vulnerable child. He is so happy to join GGCC and prays that the Lord will help him to meet his dream. His grandmother is grateful to the administration for considering her grandson.

At GGCC, he will learn without interruption or fear of being sent home from school due to lack of payment. This enables him to concentrate on his studies and work towards his dream of becoming a teacher. He likes the school compound, the teachers and the pupils. He will also be closely monitored as it relates to his health concerns. During his leisure time, he likes playing soccer.
