Neccy was born in 2008 in Uozi village, Mfangano South location. She is the second born child in a family of two children. Her father died in 2009 after a short illness leaving them under the care of her sickling widowed mother who is the sole breadwinner.

Neccy’s elder sibling Junior Onyango is learning at Shalom Academy in grade 1. Neccy’s mother is also staying with Treezer Dama who is learning at GGA. Neccy’s mother is just a peasant farmer who fully depends on farm produce to feed her family and also provide other basic needs which has not been easy. She tries to provide for her children but with a lot of difficulties.

At home Neccy takes two meals and sleep on a mat and covers self with a bed sheet under treated mosquito net.

Neccy was admitted in GGCC in January 2015 in KG1. She is happy to join GGA where her step sister Treezer Dama is also learning. She would like to become a teacher when she grows up. 

In GGCC, Neccy takes a well balanced diet consisting of three meals daily. She sleeps well on a bed and covers self with a blanket.
