Emmaculate is the youngest of five children. Her father died in 2008. Her mother does some small scale farming as well as working at a center that makes books on Mfangano Island. The income generated from these jobs is not enough to meet her family's needs.

Emmaculate is a jovial girl! She loves CRE and Social Studies, and thinks she would like to be a teacher!

While at home during school breaks, Emmaculate will sleep in a tin-roofed, mud-walled house. She will help with washing utensils, gathering firewood, and carrying water from Lake Victoria.

Emmaculate joined GGCC in 2012.
