Vallary was born in 2009 in Wasamo village, Mfangano West location.  She has only one brother, Joseph, who is learning at Wasamo Primary school in Grade 1. The mother abandoned Vallary at the young age of 5 as well as the younger brother after disagreeing with her husband. Soon after the death of the father, the grandmother who is elderly took over the responsibility of looking after her grandchildren. More recently, an uncle gained employment with Mbita Ferry and has now taken over the responsibility of taking care of Vallary and Joseph. Vallary’s uncle has his own children as well as his elderly mother to take care of so the money he makes is often not enough.

Vallary joined GGCC from Wasamo Primary School in KG1 where she had 450 marks out 600 and was position 3 out 16. She was admitted in January of 2016. She is very happy to join GGCC, a school she has really longed to attend.

Her ambition is to become a teacher. Vallary likes to play hide and seek with her friends.
