Oscar Omondi was born in 2003.  His father passed on in 2005 after a long illness leaving behind Oscar and his other siblings and his mother Benta who is a peasant farmer.

Oscar’s siblings are staying with his mother though she is struggling. She  is ill and is not able to provide much for the family. Oscar did not regularly attend school due lack of school levies and was sent home several times because of this.  Being unable to attend regularly greatly interfered with his academic performance.

Oscar enrolled in GGCC in January 2014.  Despite the struggles, he is a hard working boy who is ready to work to achieve his life’s dream.

In GGCC he gets three meals day and sleeps well on a bed and mattress and he covers himself with a blanket. He loves playing football.
