Lenny was born in 2008 and comes from Uzuwi Village in the Soklo plateau of Mfangano West location. He is the youngest child in a family of 4 children. Prior to the passing of Lenny’s father, the family struggled to make ends meet. And since his passing, Lenny’s mother has struggled that much more. She participates in peasant farming and other menial jobs, which sometimes include the illegal activity of burning charcoal to provide for her family. However, there are times when they only take two meals a day and she has had to reach out to friends, relatives, and neighbors for help.

Lenny’s two oldest siblings are Brown Odhiambo of Maseno University and Paul Omondi of Rongo University, both of which attended and graduated from GGCC. His other brother is Bivon Oluoch who is currently at JKUAT. Lenny previously attended Gulwe Primary School where he completed his grade 8 national exams before joining GGCC. While at Gulwe, Lenny faced many challenges with things like lack of school fees. This caused him to miss classes which affected his academic progress and performance.

Lenny joined GGCC in 2023 in grade 9 as an orphaned and vulnerable child. He together with his mother are so grateful to God and the administration for the opportunity he has gotten to continue with his education. He loves the school environment, which is so conducive for learning as this will help him to concentrate on his studies and work towards his dream of becoming a doctor. He will also be guaranteed three meals a day, which he did not always have at home.

During his leisure time, Lenny likes playing soccer. He is in good health.
