School Grade 8

Junior is the first born child in a family of 3 children. He was born in 2009 in Uozi village, Mfangano South Location. His father died and leaving Junior and his other siblings under care of their mother. She works as a peasant farmer, which is very seasonal and produces very little income. This family has struggled tremendously. Often they rely on well-wishers to help them with basic needs.

Junior’s second born sibling, Neccy, is learning at GGCC in grade 3. The third born is learning at Uozi Primary School in PP1. Junior was learning at Shalom in grade 3 before joining GGCC. He was admitted to GGCC in January of 2020 in grade 4 as an orphaned and vulnerable child. He is so happy to join GGCC. His mother is so grateful to God as this is a big relief for her. Junior likes the school environment and the quality teaching offered by the teachers. His fellow pupils are so friendly.

At GGCC, Junior will learn without the fear of being sent home for lack of payment. He will receive three meals a day. He hopes to improve his academic performance so that he can go to school to learn to be an engineer. He is in good health. During his leisure time, he likes playing soccer.
