Jovlet is the last born in a family of five children. She was born in Masisi village, Mfangano North location. Her father passed on and left Jovlet and her siblings under the care of their mother who is the sole breadwinner.  Her mother works hard to feed and educate her children in addition to taking care of her mother-in-law.

Paying school levies and tuition for Jovlet and her siblings has not been easy for their mother. Several times, the children have been sent at home for school levies and it would take her mother a while before she made enough money to send them back to school. These interruptions to Jovlet’s education has caused her to fall behind.

Jovlet joined GGCC from Masisi Primary school in January of 2015 in grade 1 after being vetted by vetting committee. She loves GGCC very much. She is a bright girl and is working hard.

Her best subjects are english and mathematics. She would like to become a Doctor. She loves playing netball.
