Jane is the first born in her family. She was born in 2009 in Yokia village, Mfangano North Location. Her father, who was the breadwinner, was a hard-working farmer and also employed at a gasoline station. Her mother does not work. Her father got into a motorcycle accident resulting in paralysis, and he is now unable to work. Life is extremely difficult, and they are all dependent on the donations from well-wishers.

Jane’s second born sibling, Batimalo is learning at Masisi primary school in KG1.  Jane was admitted to GGCC in January of 2018 from Masisi primary school where she was previously learning, when they could afford to send her. She was admitted in KG2 as a needy child. She is excited to join GGCC where she will learn without the interruption of being sent home for school levies and other scholastic materials.

Jane loves the school environment, the swings and the buildings. She will work hard and wants to become a nurse when she grows up. She likes playing, dancing and swinging with her peers.
