School Grade Kindergarten

Frankey was born in 2017 in Lianda Village in Rusinga East location. He is the youngest child in a family of five children. Both of his parents are alive. His father who is the breadwinner is a fisherman, while his mother takes care of the home. Frankey’s father has difficulty in providing for all the needs of the large family. He does not own his own equipment or boat, and therefore, relies on others, which further inhibits his ability to fully provide for his family.

Frankey’s oldest sibling, Avril, is in grade 8 at Lianda Primary School. The second born sibling, Van, is learning at Sagi Academy in grade 8. The third born sibling, Sylvia, is learning at Lianda Primary School in grade 3.  Frankey was also learning at Lianda Primary before joining GGCC.

Frankey joined GGCC in February of 2023 in PP1 as a vulnerable child. He is so happy to join GGCC, a boarding school. His parents are also grateful, as this is a great relief. Frankey likes the school environment, where he plays so freely with his peers, and he doesn’t have the worries of where his food will come from or if he has the money to stay in school. He will learn without interruption and be able to concentrate on his studies. He would like to be a teacher one day. He is in good health. During his leisure time, Frankey likes playing soccer with his peers.
