Fintaivy was born in 2006 in Kitenyi Village, Mfangano East location. She is the first-born child in a family of five children. She lives with her grandmother who does peasant farming to provide for their family. Fintaivy’s father lives in Tanzania and occasionally sends help. Her mother is currently a student herself.

Fintaivy’s siblings include Recky Broud of Kitenyi Primary school, Shobin Blessing who is at GGA in grade 3, Glory Esther who is in PP2 at Wamai Primary School and Gian Castro who is not old enough to attend school yet. Fintaivy went to Kitenyi Primary before joining GGCC.

Fintaivy has faced many challenges with her education like lack of school levies and other necessities. Due to the low-income household, she has not always had access to food three times a day. She was also forced to move to Uganda and live with an aunt at one time in her life. Because of the instability in her home and a lack of consistent parental support, Fintaivy has struggled to reach her potential.

Fintaivy joined GGCC in 2023 in grade 9 as a vulnerable child. She loves the school environment, which is conducive for learning. While at GGCC, Fintaivy will not miss classes due to lack of school levies. This will help her to concentrate on her studies and work toward her dream of becoming a pilot. Her best subject is Kiswahili language. During her leisure time, Fintaivy likes playing soccer. She is in good health.
