Emmaculate was born in Wasiambi village, Mfangano East Location in 2009. She is the third child in a family of six children. Her mother passed away after giving birth to her younger sibling.  Emmaculate and her siblings were left under the care of their father who is a fisherman. Emmaculate’s father has another wife, who also has 5 children. Although Emmaculate’s father works by fishing in other’s nets, he is unable to provide for the needs of such a large family. They have suffered great hardship, not having enough food at times and the children having to miss school because they couldn’t afford to pay the fees.

Emmaculate was learning at Misori primary school before joining GGCC. Her other siblings attend school when they can afford it. Emmaculate was admitted to GGCC in January of 2019 in grade 4 as an orphaned and vulnerable child. She is so happy and grateful to God for enabling her to join GGCC.  She is so excited that she will no longer be sent home for lack of school levies, and will have a quality education in addition to taking all three meals daily.

Emmaculate would like to work hard to become a Nurse. During her leisure time, she likes playing football with her peers. Emmaculate is in good health.
