Brytone is the fifth child in a family of six children. He was born in 2005 in Ragwe, Nyamrisra sub location. His father passed in 2006 after a long illness. His mother who is just a peasant farmer and also does odd jobs for people struggles so much to take care of her children.

Brytone’s elder sibling Quinter is learning at Ragwe Mixed Secondary school in form three, the second born Evelyn got married, the third born Mark did his grade 8 and was still waiting to join form one. Geoffrey is in grade five while the sixth born Livingstone is in pre unit.

Brytone’s life has been tough as his mother is sometimes forced to do odd jobs in order to feed and pay school levies for her children. Most of the time she is just helped by well wishers, like she was put for a shelter by well wishers.

Brytone takes two meals and sometimes just takes porridge for the day. He sleep in his mother’s iron roofed mud wall house and sleep on a mat and cover self with a blanket under treated mosquito net.

Brytone was admitted in GGCC in 2015 in Grade 1 after being vetted by the vetting committee. He is so happy and really hoping that life will never be the same again.

In GGCC Brytone sleeps well on a bed and mattress and cover self with a blanket. Now he can take all the three meals and additional 10 o’clock porridge.
