Brian was born in 2003. He is the last born in a family of eleven children. Both parents are alive but needy. His father, who is the sole breadwinner,  previously worked for Suba Bible Translation and Literacy as a watchman, but since the launching of the Suba New Testament, his job has not been stable.

Brian has three siblings that have passed away and five of his siblings are adults that are married.

Brian’s parents have been struggling to feed such a large family. Sometimes they have one meal a day, sometimes nothing. Paying school levies is also a big problem.

Brian was enrolled in GGCC in January 2014. At GGCC, life is good as Brian eats three meals a day and he is able to learn well without any the interruption of being sent home for school levies.

At GGCC, Brian sleeps on a bed with a mattress and has a blanket to covers himself. He is in a dry and adequate dormitory where he is being taken care of by a house parent. Brian would like to become a teacher when he grows up.

Update Dec 2017-

Brian has placed 14th out of 40 students. He likes his math class and hopes to be an engineer. During his free time, he likes to play soccer.
